They made burgers and…drugs. Today in the Yaroslavl Regional Court the verdict was read out to two residents of the region in the case of organizing a drug laboratory. One is the owner of a roadside cafe in the Rostov region, the other is an administrator. We met at a party in the capital and decided to earn extra money in this illegal way. Despite the fact that the second workplace was located two steps away from the first one, the mephedrone was brewed in a shed next to the burger shop. From August 22 to April 23, we managed to produce more than 8 kilograms by hand. During the search, over 40 kilos of precursors were found. Today, both were found guilty of producing and storing drugs on an especially large scale.

Olga Kozlova, press secretary of the Yaroslavl regional court:

“A 49-year-old resident of the region was sentenced to 15 years and 7 months in prison. The 48-year-old was sentenced to 15.5 years. Both will serve their sentences in a maximum security colony. The verdict has not entered into legal force.”
