Tambov residents actively use social networks to complain about problems existing in the city. They leave their messages in popular online public pages in the hope that they will be heard.

The editors of the online Tambov.ru news agency monitored local online communities to assess what issues concerned residents over the past week, from April 16 to April 23.

It turned out that Tambov residents most often complained about the consequences of the past cleanup, poor-quality pothole repairs, medical care, shallowing of the Tsna River and the lack of buses on the routes.

The topic of discussion of the week, among other things, was medical care. Especially after State Duma deputy Tamara Frolova criticized Tambov healthcare, pointing out that everyone is silent about existing problems, and the head of the region does not want to hear them at all.

“We don’t have healthcare in Tambov! No doctors! There are only a bunch of illiterates “specialists”. People simply cry because of such professionals,” writes Olga E.
“What can we say about the Tambov region if there are no doctors in Tambov itself? Neither in the third hospital named after Dolgushin, nor in the second children’s hospital named after Arch. Luke doesn’t have an ophthalmologist! There are 30 people in line to see the pediatrician and the therapist, and these are only coupons! How many come for an emergency?!” – indignant Anastasia D.
“Morshansk does not have enough doctors in the clinic; the children’s clinic is in general rush. There are no pediatricians. There are not enough blood laboratory technicians. Junior and mid-level medical staff work constantly for two days a day. The same goes for the ambulance – there is a shortage of paramedics. I’m generally silent about regional medical care.“, – speaks Marina D.
“There are no drugs in the hospital, everything is paid for, doctors prescribe treatment without examination – but there is a lot that can be said“, notes Lyubov P.
Residents were also dissatisfied with the consequences of the past cleanup. The areas have been tidied up, but mountains of garbage bags and overflowing containers still “delight” the townspeople.

“Regarding the cleanup: they cleaned everything up themselves, put things in order, but it was all in vain, since everything was flying back from the overflowing trash can. There is more and more garbage on Gastello, 26. Soon the rats will run away. We won’t open the windows any time soon either.“, – speaks Olga S.
“We also went out for a cleanup a week ago, and now everything from the trash has scattered all over the yard again. And our Criminal Codes don’t empty the ballot boxes. And therefore, to be honest, there is no longer any desire to restore order. Some kind of empty work“, writes Elena V.
“We held a cleanup day in our yard. Question. When will the bags be taken out now?“, – interested Alena A.

And the eternal problem is roads and the notorious pothole repairs. Tambov residents call such repairs a “spit” from the city authorities.

“Does anyone actually monitor how pothole repairs are done? The money allocated for this simply goes down the drain. Yesterday they allegedly carried out pothole repairs on Orekhovaya Street… It’s like a slap to the residents, to be honest, it doesn’t look like pothole repairs. This is exactly how you treat the townspeople, the way your employees do pothole repairs“, writes Galya P.
“And the quality is the same Does anyone check the “repair” asphalt?” he asks. Eduard Ya.
“I’m driving along Ippodromnaya, there are few cars, the holes are filled with pebbles and …. I’m catching up with ZIL, which is standing on the road. One worker throws these pebbles off the truck, the second worker picks them up from below and places them in the holes with a shovel. Ordinary dry pebbles, not in fuel oil and without resin, he simply scoops up with a shovel what was thrown from above and puts it in a hole and plops it on top with a spatula. Question for the city leadership: is this a warranty repair? For millions of rubles? What is this anyway?“, – interested Tatiana F.
