Tomsk will join the all-Russian cleanup event, which will take place next Saturday, April 27. All interested citizens are invited to clean the city of garbage – both public spaces and courtyards.

“On April 27, a citywide cleanup will take place in Tomsk, which will be held as part of the all-Russian cleanup under the national project “Housing and Urban Environment” within the framework of the federal project “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment.” Citizens can join in cleaning the city by cleaning the area around them and in city parks and squares,” the mayor’s office said.

The administration noted that a month of beautification is taking place in Tomsk until the end of May. Sanitation Fridays are held every week. Also on April 20, a citywide cleanup was held; the mayor’s office reported that over 150 cubic meters of garbage were collected during the cleanup.

Earlier, the mayor’s office noted that to assist in cleaning local areas, Tomsk residents can contact management organizations for information. For details on putting things in order at city sites, you can contact the district administration by phone: Kirovsky district – 56-40-96, Leninsky – 51-71-40, Oktyabrsky – 90-24-78, Sovetsky – 54-46-75.
