The land seizure is being carried out in connection with the approval of the planning and surveying project for the creation of a cable car. Four of these plots are occupied by individual residential buildings, another one is located under a non-residential building and a parking lot. One site is located on undeveloped territory. After alienation, the lands are transferred to the Nizhny Novgorod region.

Discussions were held with all owners of released land plots on issues related to the transfer of land and receipt of compensation. Further issues regarding the procedure are resolved with the owners in constant dialogue with the Ministry of Property and Land Relations and the Ministry of Transport and Highways of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, said the Urbantech Group of Companies.

Territory planning project for the construction of a cable car across the Oka River approved last fall. The document posted on the website of the regional Ministry of the City states that plots of individual housing construction on Bauman and Matrosskaya streets are subject to seizure. Another location is located on Gagarin Avenue. Its permitted use involves business management.

After the seizure procedure, some areas will also be divided, which will remain within the changed boundaries. For example, this applies to the site under the Rossiya cinema and the adjacent territory on Lenin Avenue. Also subject to division are several plots on Zarechny Boulevard, Buman, Matrosskaya streets and in the area of the Small Tobolsk ravine of the Sluda tract.

Let us remind you that the Urbantech Group of Companies is engaged in the construction of the cable car across the Oka River under a concession with the regional government. The work will cost 4.9 billion rubles. Air crossing project will be ready in May. After its approval by the state examination, work will begin: it is assumed that this will happen until the end of this year. They intend to commission the facility in 2026.

The new cable car will connect Zarechny Boulevard in the Leninsky District with Gagarin Avenue in Sovetsky. It will include three stations – near the Rossiya cinema, in the area of 48 Bauman Street and next to the Okeanis multifunctional complex. 60 cabins with a capacity of up to eight people will run along the 3,340-meter route. The speed will be 5 m/s, and the total travel time will be about 15 minutes. The air crossing is designed to carry 10 thousand passengers per day.
