“The tram has been restored. It was brought to Samara the other day. We hope that we will receive it this week,” said the head of the Department of Transport at a meeting of the City Duma Committee for the Development of Urban Infrastructure, Housing and Communal Services and the Environment.

The tram in question is one of 12 trains that the Samara City Hall bought from a Belarusian manufacturer. The fire in it occurred on November 11, 2023. Fortunately, no one was injured, but the train was seriously damaged.

Investigators initiated an investigation into the incident. However, the results have not been announced to date.
