In the future park near the Rodnik shopping center, at the intersection of Truda and Severo-Krymskaya streets, in the Central district of Chelyabinsk, work is in full swing: the contractor is already laying paving slabs.
As reported today, April 24, in the press service of the mayor’s office, in the public space, which is being landscaped next to the shopping and entertainment complex under the project “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment,” the planning of the sites and sidewalk network, asphalting and arrangement of the crushed stone base have already been completed.
The city administration reminded that the updated park will have wide walking paths, many comfortable benches and trash cans.
Modern outdoor lighting and a video surveillance system will be installed along the entire perimeter.
For a convenient and safe crossing of the children’s railway, a pedestrian bridge is provided.
Existing mature trees will be preserved, in addition, contractors will carry out additional landscaping (globular willow, wild apple tree, bird cherry, three-lobed almond, rowan-leaved spirea, gray Grefsheim spirea and cotoneaster will be planted, as well as Chinese miscanthus and sugar fanflower. In addition, a lawn will appear in the park.
“The highlight of the space will be dry stream with a riverbed filled with stones, surrounded by boulders and plants,” – the mayor’s office reminded.
It is planned to complete the transformation of the public area near the Chelyabinsk “Spring” before the end of the current summer season.
