In the Sovetsky district of the Kirov region, they began to repair the bridge over the Vyatka River. It is located on the road Kirov – Sovetsk – Yaransk – with access to the city of Yaransk. In plans for 2024, this is the longest facility, explained the regional Ministry of Transport.
615.3 linear meters of the structure will be put in order here. The bridge is over 30 years old and has never been repaired since 1990. An examination by the commission in May last year showed that his condition was unsatisfactory.
The Road Committee of the Kirov Region noted that due to violations of waterproofing and an ineffective drainage system, a decrease in the durability of spans and supports was recorded. The level of holding capacity of the fences is reduced, there are cracks and unevenness in the coating, and the concrete on the steps of staircases is destroyed. Work on the bridge will be completed by November 2024.
Let us remind you that in the Zuevsky district they began to repair the highway under the national project “Safe High-Quality Roads”. The contractor is performing work on the road Kirov – Kirovo-Chepetsk – Zuevka – Falenki – the border of the Udmurt Republic.
