A music festival with a capoeira show will be organized at Toropova Dacha in Sevastopol

On April 28, the music festival “Summer Jazz. Opening”. Jazz compositions and Brazilian music will be performed for guests. Master classes and capoeira shows are also planned. A beautiful natural corner of the Crimean mountains will be a bonus – the event will be held at Toropova Dacha.

According to the organizers, in the first part of the program a quartet of Honored Artist of the Republic of Crimea Viktor Nikulin will take the stage. Musicians will play famous jazz works. Their performance will be enhanced by the voice of vocalist Tatyana Donets.

Then the Samba Trio will delight the audience with Brazilian music. Soft, romantic melodies in the bossa nova style and fiery samba will sound. This part of the program will be complemented by a show from the capoeira school Dende Capoeira. Guests will see how martial art, dance and Brazilian culture are combined in one performance.

“First, you will plunge into the world of musical dreams and take a trip to the era of great musicians, poets and writers: Hemingway and Salinger, Ellington and Armstrong. In the second half of the performance, you will be transported to distant Brazil and feel the expanses of sunny beaches and the soft gloom of evening cafes along with samba and bossa nova music,” said the organizers.

In addition, master classes on coloring toys and dancing will be organized for adults and children. The latter will be held by representatives of Dende Capoeira. There is also a toy market.

The event will take place in a picnic format: you can sit right on the grass, enjoy live music and the view of Nefertiti Rock. The organizers ask you to bring camping mats or folding chairs. You can also bring food and drinks.
