Since the beginning of the special military operation, regional branches of United Russia have collected and delivered more than 110 thousand tons of humanitarian aid to new regions. Almost 13 billion rubles were collected and allocated for the purchase of vehicles, drones, communications equipment, electronic warfare and reconnaissance systems, thermal imagers, and equipment for SVO participants. United Russia sent more than 1.5 thousand children from Donbass, Novorossiya and the Belgorod region for treatment and rehabilitation to federal clinics.

These figures were announced on April 23, summing up the work of the humanitarian headquarters of United Russia for two years, by the secretary of the party’s General Council, Andrei Turchak. The head of headquarters, Vice-Speaker of the State Duma Anna Kuznetsova recalled that the party launched a program for medical and psychological rehabilitation of children in the Belgorod region. More than 500 children and their parents from front-line cities and towns, members of military families, and members of military families went to the Krasnodar Territory, Stavropol Territory, Moscow, Moscow Region and other regions for recreation and recreation. Party volunteers work in temporary temporary detention centers, where they deliver household appliances, medicines, and medical equipment.

The Kaluga regional branch of United Russia also takes an active part in this work.

“From the first days of the Northern Military District, the regional department not only provides humanitarian assistance to our guys on the front line and residents of the liberated territories, but also actively participates in the restoration of new regions of our homeland.

I would especially like to note the work of volunteers and emergency crews sent year-round by the regional branch of the party to restore water supply and electrical networks in new regions. A colossal amount of work has been done, amounting to hundreds of kilometers of restored networks, so necessary for a normal life for ordinary residents of Donbass. For example, over 30,000 linear meters of water supply networks alone have been restored and replaced. “More than 100 apartment buildings have also been restored,”

— said the head of the regional executive committee, Alexey Maksimenko:

According to him, just recently, with the support of the Kaluga branch of United Russia, a school in the city of Zolotoe, which is part of the Pervomaisky urban district, won a federal grant in the amount of 170 million rubles. The money will be used to restore the school building, which was seriously damaged during shelling, and to purchase new modern equipment.
