The regional government held a joint meeting of the anti-terrorism commission and the operational headquarters in the Kirov region.

One of the issues that was discussed at the meeting was ensuring law and order and public safety at events – the Spring and Labor holiday, Victory Day and the 650th anniversary of Kirov.

As the regional government said, special attention will be paid tofire resistance of buildings, where will they take place Events. With institutional staff will be held briefings on the topic of fire and enterrorist security.

Large-scale holidays will be subject to special control. Places carrying out in advance examine with service dogs and technical equipment. People will be allowed through checkpoints with metal detectors. Celebration places will be placed under protection.

– “We need to pay special attention to the events for the anniversary of Kirov, which will take place on September 21-22,” said the head of the region, Alexander Sokolov. – We are waiting for guests from other regions.
