Salaries over the year increased in Voronezh by 16.7%

The city’s economy, despite sanctions pressure, has maintained and increased the necessary capacity. Voronezh Mayor Vadim Kstenin announced this on April 24, speaking with his annual report to the City Duma.

According to him, budget stability was maintained in 2023: expenditure obligations and the planned volumes of construction of infrastructure facilities were fulfilled.

The head of the city reported that at the end of last year, wages in Voronezh increased by 16.7% (and in social institutions – by 18.1%). The average salary in the city’s economy was 65.7 thousand rubles.

The growth rate in retail trade is also noticeable – 117.1%. In current prices, the volume of construction work increased by 25.8%.

The mayor also reported an increase in investment by 7.4%. And that the industrial production index in Voronezh amounted to 105.7% (despite the average for the Russian Federation being 103.5%).
