In Bashkiria the weather will change dramatically. Forecasters were very surprised by the weather forecast for the end of April and May.
According to the regional Office of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, the influence of the subtropical air mass will be weakened by the cold front. The abnormal heat will be replaced by rain, downpours, thunderstorms, hail, and squally winds. The air temperature will drop at night to +2, +7 degrees, on April 26 the thermometer will drop to 0 degrees. During the day it will get colder to +13, +18 degrees; in the northeast of the region it is predicted to reach +8 degrees. When air masses change, most regions of the republic will experience short-term thunderstorms, occasional downpours, squally winds, and local hail during the day. Such weather is now observed in neighboring Tatarstan. A cold atmospheric front is approaching Bashkiria.
According to the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, the republic will become a little warmer over the coming long weekend. During the day the air will warm up above +20 degrees. No overnight frosts are expected.
According to the probabilistic forecast of temperature and precipitation in May, the air temperature is expected to be near normal. For the last spring month it is +11, +14 degrees. Gismeteo forecasters report that air temperatures in May will range from +11 to +20 degrees. They do not predict night frosts in May. However, abnormal heat is not expected either.
