The season to bring highways to standard condition has started in the Voronezh region

“The main goal of the national project “Safe Quality Roads” is to improve the quality of life of the population, therefore socially significant routes are in the area of ​​special attention. Thus, this year we plan to bring 2.5 thousand km of sections of the road network leading to educational institutions, 1.9 thousand km to medical institutions, 900 km to sports facilities and 1.1 thousand km of tourist routes to the standards. An equally important area of ​​work is the renovation of bridges, overpasses, and bridge crossings. This year, according to the national project, we plan to bring 49.6 thousand linear meters to the standards. m of artificial structures and 11.3 thousand linear meters. m – reconstruct and build. In general, funds in the amount of 259.3 billion rubles are allocated from the federal budget for the implementation of the activities of the federal project “Regional and Local Road Network,” said Roman Novikov, head of the Federal Road Agency.

Road work under the national project is also underway in the Kashira municipal district – here the company SMU-90 LLC is updating two highways at once: Kolodezny – Krugloye and Krugloye – Mikhailovka. The contractor has already completed work to strengthen the road base using cold recycling and has begun laying the road surface.

– We prepared in advance for the 2024 season: to fulfill government contracts for the repair of highways, we purchased all road materials in sufficient quantities – crushed stone, bitumen; carried out preventive work at the asphalt concrete plant,” said Alexander Sotnikov, director of the road organization SMU-90 LLC.

The company “RecyclerDorStroy” is working on a ten-kilometer section of the Vorobyovka – Nikolskoye – 2nd Korennoe highway in the Vorobyovsky municipal district – this is a road with high traffic intensity, in addition, transport passes through it to the Volgograd region, and residents of nearby villages move along it.

– The road is an important element of the transport structure. People travel on business, to visit. Hours count, and sometimes even minutes, when the help of doctors or firefighters is needed. Local residents are waiting for the completion of repairs and are planning trips on a smooth, high-quality road,” said Ruslan Aliev, executive director of RecyclerDorStroy LLC.

All repair work in the region is controlled by employees of the division of the Ministry of Road Activities of the Voronezh Region – KUVO “Road Agency”. Each stage of work is accompanied by inspections, inert materials, progress, types of work are monitored, contractors send daily reports. Such system control applies to all road objects being repaired without exception.
