In St. Petersburg, a young man killed his partner and then committed suicide.

As 78.ru learned, a cruel drama occurred on the evening of April 23 at 20 Slavyanskaya Street. A girl contacted the duty station and reported that her sister was being beaten by her partner. Police went to the scene and found the body of a young man under the windows of a high-rise building. After an autopsy, the body of a girl was found in the apartment without signs of life.

It was established that in the evening a quarrel arose between the cohabitants. during which a 26-year-old St. Petersburg man grabbed a knife and hit the girl several times. Then he jumped out of the window.

As it turned out, at the time of discovery the young man was still alive. He was hospitalized with multiple injuries, but at about 9 p.m., doctors pronounced him dead.

The issue of initiating a criminal case is currently being decided. Material evidence was confiscated from the apartment where the tragedy unfolded.
