On Wednesday, April 24, the traditional report of the head of Voronezh to city Duma deputies on the work of the administration last year took place.
Immediately after the session, Vadim Kstenin shared his impressions on his Telegram channel:
– The year was quite difficult – both for the city authorities and for Voronezh residents. Powerful political and sanctions pressure from Western countries continued. Issues related to the special military operation remained among our priorities. We highly value the courage and dedication of the soldiers, we do our best to support our fellow countrymen and their families, and we work on the patriotic education of young people.
Our current work was aimed at achieving national goals, implementing municipal programs and components of regional projects. Today we see positive changes in almost every area of city life. And, summing up the results of the year, we can say that the municipal economy, withstanding sanctions pressure, increased the necessary capacity.
Budget stability has been maintained, expenditure obligations have been accepted and the planned volumes of construction of infrastructure facilities have been fulfilled. At the same time, all the projects currently being implemented are very large-scale; they were able to start solely thanks to the support of Governor Alexander Gusev. Constructive relationships with the regional government give us confidence in the further timely implementation of projects that are important for the citizens.
Following his address to the Federal Assembly, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Federal Assembly to develop new national projects that will contribute to socio-economic development. We will actively engage in this work and make all necessary changes to our programs and plans in a timely manner.
He also addressed the deputy corps, expressing the hope that further work will be built just as constructively, taking into account the opinions and wishes of the public, business and citizens. For my part, I guarantee the continuation of a systematic approach to all our projects.
