Omsk UDCB has begun acaricidal treatment of parks, boulevards and squares. The purpose of such measures is to create unfavorable conditions for the development of ticks and prevent the infection of local residents and animals with tick-borne encephalitis.
Traditionally, tick treatment is carried out twice a year: in spring and autumn. A contract has already been concluded with a contractor SANEPIDSERVICE LLC, which will carry out work in the spring. The contract price is about 700 thousand rubles.
The area of the territory that is planned to be cultivated in spring and autumn is 3,515,317.6 square meters. m. Work will be carried out on 106 objects.
Recently, acaricidal treatment began to be carried out in the 30th Anniversary of Victory Park. In the near future, workers will treat the squares to them. Karbysheva, Panfilov, as well as Pushkin Square. It is planned to complete the spring treatment against ticks by May 25.
