In the Kirov region in 2023, the number of exporting companies increased by 181, or 26%. The list of exported products has also changed, the regional government reported.
They began to export food products such as meat, milk, cream, and pasta. There are also industrial goods – lathes, liquefied steel, hot-rolled metal rods.
Enterprises refocused on supplies to the CIS countries, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Exports to Brazil, China, Turkey, Bulgaria, Uzbekistan, Mozambique, and South Africa increased (by $167 million). Products are sent to Burkina Faso, Bahrain, Dominican Republic, Jordan, Mauritius, Namibia, Panama, Syrian Arab Republic, Togo, Zimbabwe.
Earlier, a plant for the production of technical stage equipment was opened in Kirov. It will produce in-demand products for Russian theaters.
