In the Saratov region, a bill was passed to punish utility workers for late provision of information about stripping operations.
Thus, annually before October 30, resource supply companies must submit information about planned work on laying communications to the administration, but they “forget” to do this. After this, courtyards, sidewalks, and roads are opened up to repair communications, despite the recent landscaping of the territories.
Senior prosecutor of the department for supervision over the implementation of federal legislation of the prosecutor’s office of the Saratov region, Alexei Shkromada, at a meeting of the regional Duma on April 24, noted that the companies themselves do not send the information, for example, JSC SPGES, JSC NESK did not send the data, even despite the comments of the administrations.
According to him, violations in the field of earthworks are widespread. In 2023 and over the past period of 2024, 203 violations were identified in terms of deadlines, 27 – in the absence of applications for permits, 449 – non-compliance with deadlines for improvement.
“The adoption of the bill will facilitate the synchronization of the work of resource supply organizations with the plans of municipalities for the repair of roads and sidewalks. This will make it possible to more effectively organize the improvement of populated areas.”– noted a representative of the prosecutor’s office.
For violations, officials will now be issued a warning or an administrative fine of up to 50 thousand rubles, and legal entities – up to 100 thousand rubles.
