In Sevastopol, attacks by stray dogs on citizens’ cars have again been recorded, which victims report on social networks, adding colorful details.
“On the Trolleybus Descent in Sevastopol, two dogs appeared, black and red. The black one is running almost under the hood and barking, you slow down so as not to run over it, it runs over to the wheel and starts tearing off the plastic with its teeth, if you accelerate, it runs forward under the wheels. The red dog is just running nearby. I seized the moment, accelerated to 55 km/h – the dog was running nearby at the same speed. How to fight? It’s a pity, they’ll run over you, but it’s also a pity for the car. How to deal with this?” asks one of the affected motorists.
As usual, the victim received a lot of more or less valuable advice, including distracting the attention of predatory mammals with sausages and taking them to the ram. Some, based on personal experience, advised barking convincingly at them to scare away four-legged aggressors.
A dog attack on a car can really lead to serious repairs. Two years ago, the consequences of animals trying to “eat” a passing car were devoted to separate material ForPost. Unfortunately, over the past time the situation with the regulation of the number of stray animals and, accordingly, the risks arising from them, has not been completely resolved. The powers to supervise stray animals in Sevastopol are entrusted to the department of municipal services and the State Budgetary Institution “Parks and Squares” subordinate to it – in any case, it is these structures that pay compensation for children bitten by stray packs – but it is obvious that the resources of the city farm in this case are insufficient.
Sevastopol volunteers are trying to achieve the construction of an official shelter for stray animals in the city. Unfortunately, it happens every time rests either in the absence of land or in the absence of money.
