In the regional center, a contractor was brought to justice for violating the deadlines for repairing the institution of the penal system. The Kaluga prosecutor’s office reported this.
It turned out that in accordance with the concluded government contract, the contractor assumed obligations to repair the institution. However, the work was not completed within the specified time frame.
The lack of completion of repairs prevented the normal operation of the penitentiary system. This also created risks of leaks and damage to equipment and engineering systems.
The total cost of obligations not fulfilled on time amounted to more than 700 thousand rubles.
As a result, the prosecutor’s office opened a case of administrative violation against the general director of the contractor organization. The culprit was fined 39 thousand rubles.
