Residents of the Kurgan region are invited to test their knowledge during the “Victory Dictation” event on April 26 at the Kurgan Regional Universal Scientific Library named after. A.K. Yugova.
On this day, 118 sites for dictation will open in the Kurgan region. One of them is the library named after. A.K. Yugova invites everyone to take part in the event, especially those who are interested in the history of their country, respect the memory of heroes of all generations and want to test their knowledge.
Registration of participants begins at 13:00. At the same time, thematic multimedia lectures will begin.
The Kurgan Center of the Presidential Library, which is located at the Yugovka base, will host a lecture “The Artery of Life”, dedicated to the legendary operation to break the siege of Leningrad. In the hall of patent and technical literature there will be a lecture on the prerequisites for the outbreak of World War II. Songs from the war years will be played in the library’s concert hall as part of the “Virtual Philharmonic” project. The dictation itself will begin at 14:00.

Participants will have to test their knowledge of the events and dates of the Great Patriotic War for 45 minutes. The correct answers to the dictation questions will be available later on the website.
