Criminal investigation officers of the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Eastern Degunino district, the Department of Internal Affairs for the Northern Administrative District of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow, together with colleagues from the Moscow Criminal Investigation Department, detained a previously convicted resident of the capital on suspicion of murdering a neighbor.
A resident of a house located in Keramichesky Proezd contacted the police. According to the woman, she went to visit her neighbor and found her body lying on the floor in the apartment.
An investigative team immediately arrived at the scene of the incident. It was determined that the deceased 54-year-old woman had stab wounds.
Based on this fact, the investigative authorities opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Murder”
During a complex of operational-search activities, criminal investigation officers detained a 67-year-old Muscovite at her place of residence in Keramichesky Proezd on suspicion of murder.
The suspect, previously convicted of theft, explained that there was an argument between her and the victim, during which she stabbed the latter several times with a kitchen knife. During a search in the detainee’s apartment, her clothes, which have evidentiary value for the investigation of the criminal case, were found and confiscated. The defendant was chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention.
