An unemployed robber was given two years in prison for robbing a microfinance organization in Voronezh. This was reported by the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Let us remind you that the incident occurred in January. A previously convicted 32-year-old Voronezh resident burst into the organization’s office and began threatening a 19-year-old employee with a knife, demanding that she hand over all her money savings to him.

The frightened girl took the attacker to the safe, from there he took 244 thousand rubles and disappeared. The victim contacted the police and the man was detained.

A criminal case was opened under the article “Robbery” (Part 2 of Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The Zheleznodorozhny District Court sentenced the robber to a term in a general regime colony.
