The road to the Ankudinovsky Park and Novaya Kuznechikha residential complexes is 80% ready

Nizhny Novgorod. April 24. NTA-Privolzhye – The road to the residential complex “Ankudinovsky Park” and “New Kuznechikha” is 80% ready.

According to the press service of the city administration, at the moment, specialists have completed 80% of the work on building the road from Academician Sakharov Street to the intersection with General Ivliev Street, which will lead to the Tsvety, Novaya Kuznechikha and Ankudinovsky Park residential complexes.

According to the director of the MKU “Main Directorate for the Construction and Repair of the Metro, Bridges and Road Networks” (GUMMiD) Andrei Levdikov, one of the key problems of new residential complexes is the lack of the necessary road network.

“In Nizhny Novgorod, within the framework of the Stimulus program of the federal project “Housing” of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”, construction of a new road is underway, which will precisely connect the residential complex “Flowers”, “Novaya Kuznechikha” and “Ankudinovsky Park”. Thus, providing more than 20 thousand residents with the necessary road and transport infrastructure,” said Andrei Levdikov.

The new four-lane highway will be more than 2.5 km long and equipped to all modern standards. Lighting poles have already been installed at the site and traffic lights are being installed.

“Now the contractor’s main task is to completely ensure traffic here, since now public transport and cars have to move along a temporary road,” noted Andrei Levdikov.

The director of GUMMiD added that he set the task of accelerating the pace of work to connect the road to Academician Sakharov Street. The project is scheduled for completion in November of this year, but the contractor is ahead of schedule. It is planned that traffic on the last section of the road will be launched in May, and full commissioning will be carried out in mid-summer.

It was previously reported that more than 1,700 Nizhny Novgorod residents improved their living conditions in 2023 thanks to the national project “Housing and Urban Environment.”
