Professional skills competition “Nizhny Novgorod Accountant-2024” started in the region

The professional skills competition “Nizhny Novgorod Accountant-2024” has started in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The competition is traditionally held in two categories – budget and commercial. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Finance.

“This year we are introducing a new nomination – “Best Young Accountant” in the budget and commercial categories. The selection will take place among participants 18−35 years old. This is an excellent opportunity for young professionals to express themselves,” emphasized Olga Sulima, Minister of Finance of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

To take part in the competition, you must register on the Government Team website: hr.nobl.ru/ before May 23 inclusive, select one of the nominations and answer 30 test questions. The organizers are the Ministry of Finance of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the Ministry of Personnel Policy of the region and the API company.

“The Nizhny Novgorod Accountant competition is an excellent opportunity for financial professionals to assess their competitiveness. Participation in professional competitions gives you the desire to develop, follow the latest trends in the industry, and undergo training in a timely manner,” noted the Minister of Personnel Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Ekaterina Lebedeva.

The winners of the competition will receive cash certificates worth 100 thousand rubles, those who took 2nd and 3rd places will receive cash certificates worth 70 thousand and 50 thousand rubles, respectively. All winners will be awarded diplomas from the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

Participants in the “Nizhny Novgorod Accountant” competition can also take part in the “Accounting Dynasties of the Nizhny Novgorod Region” competition. A dynasty of accountants are members of the same family, their close relatives and cousins, who are specialists in the accounting field (currently or in the past). To declare your dynasty, you must be a participant in the “Nizhny Novgorod Accountant-2024” competition and fill out a special form on the “Government Team” website.
