Moscow. April 24. INTERFAX – The quality of the architecture of bridges, overpasses, utility and engineering facilities will increase in the coming years, Moscow’s chief architect Sergei Kuznetsov said on Wednesday.
“I can say right away that there will no longer be simple and straightforward architectural solutions when creating transport and engineering infrastructure projects. In the coming years, the quality of design of bridges, overpasses or utility facilities will increase,” Kuznetsov said.
He recalled that today there are seven bridge projects in the works, distinguished by a high level of architectural elaboration and the quality of engineering solutions.
“I am confident that transport structures and public utilities, of which many are being designed and built in the city, can not only fulfill their utilitarian function, but also decorate the capital,” Kuznetsov emphasized.
