Saint Petersburg. April 24. INTERFAX – Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov will sum up the work of the city government over the past year before the St. Petersburg parliament at the Oktyabrsky Concert Hall, and not at the Mariinsky Palace.

The corresponding decision was supported at a meeting of the Legislative Assembly on Wednesday.

“Once every five years, we would like to give the opportunity to listen to the governor not only to us, the deputies of the Legislative Assembly invited here, but also to people who would like to come, and to a large number of public organizations,” said Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Alexander Belsky, presenting the project.

Traditionally, the St. Petersburg parliament meets once a week, on Wednesdays, in the Mariinsky Palace. Deputies supported the decision to postpone the said meeting from Wednesday, May 15, to Tuesday, May 14, and hold it offsite at the BKZ.

Belsky clarified that no legal acts will be adopted at this meeting.

44 deputies voted for the document, one was against it.
