On June 1, the beach season begins in Tambov. According to the city administration, a total of 14 beaches will operate in Tambov in 2024.
Employees of the Directorate of Municipal Economy have already begun preparing these territories for the start of the season. Now the crews are putting the rescue posts in order – opening them up and drying them out after the winter. At the same time, the locker rooms are being painted, the stairs are being repaired, and at the Directorate’s base, wooden benches and sunbeds are being prepared for further use.
“Next we’ll bring in sand and divers will examine the bottom. We will take samples of water and sand, and also carry out acaricidal treatment of the beaches. We will install swimming pools on the beaches, including this year we will install a children’s swimming pool in Laski. We are currently preparing 14 beaches,” – said Alla Poroshina, head of the section of the Municipal Budgetary Institution “Directorate of Municipal Economy”.
