In Bryansk, an investigation into the theft from the premises of an inactive wholesale warehouse in the Volodarsky district has been completed. This was reported to the city Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The crime happened at night. An unknown person stole a sofa and a two-meter plaster statue with a total value of 23.6 thousand rubles. The thief damaged the metal entrance door, causing the owner of the premises – a 43-year-old resident of Bezhitsa – additional damage of 13 thousand rubles.

The attacker turned out to be a previously convicted 18-year-old resident of Bryansk. According to him, he had previously spotted an unguarded base and, armed with a crowbar, went to work.

The police seized the stolen sofa and statue from the guy’s home. The defendant was charged.
