A new establishment serving Georgian and other oriental cuisine will soon replace the Mimi coffee shop next to the main pedestrian street of the city. Details:

A khinkal restaurant will open in the center of Chelyabinsk “Old Man Khinkalych.” The establishment will be launched as a franchise of a chain from Crimea founded by a restaurateur Kirill Kirpichny. Now there are already 100 restaurants in the network throughout the country, the main dish of which is khinkali of seven different types (not counting seasonal ones) at a price of 45 rubles per piece.

Among the features of their cafes, the founders of the franchise name fast service, an open kitchen and a “thoughtful interior” with folk Georgian motifs. In addition to khinkali, the menu of the establishments includes a wide assortment of khachapuri and oriental pastries, soups, salads, hot dishes, not only from Georgian, but also from other Middle Eastern cuisines.

The site of the first khinkal restaurant in Chelyabinsk will be a former coffee shop Mimi at the intersection of Karl Marx and Zwilling streets: let us remind you that last year it was put up for sale for 5 million rubles. It is still unknown who became the new owner of the premises.

As CHEL.DK.RU previously toldin May another similar project should be launched on Svoboda Street: a Georgian restaurant “Adzhikinezhal”.
