Bryansk Province | Alexander Bogomaz ordered the restoration of the stele at the entrance to Bryansk

The government of the Bryansk region discussed preparations for the celebration of May 9. Many questions arose about the condition of the stela “Bryansk – the city of Partisan Glory” at the entrance from the Karachevsky district.

The head of the department for the protection and preservation of cultural heritage, Konstantin Volkov, said that the monument does not belong to Bryansk or the Bryansk region, so they do not have the right to funds for its repair.

– And that there are no enterprises that would take patronage over this monument. There is no need for budget money. Talk and remove this shame, – Governor Alexander Bogomaz noted.
