A woman died and four were injured in an accident in the Verkhnekhava district, on the 46th kilometer of the Panino – Verkhnyaya Khava – Malaya Privalovka highway on the morning of Wednesday, April 24. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Voronezh Region.
According to preliminary data, a 42-year-old local resident driving a LADA Kalina drove into oncoming traffic and collided with a LADA Granta driven by a 35-year-old local resident.
As a result of the accident, a 41-year-old passenger of the first Lada died. Four people were also injured: the driver and 18-year-old passenger of the first car, and the driver and 47-year-old passenger of the second.
The victims were taken to the hospital.
The police are conducting an investigation into this matter. All the circumstances and reasons for what happened are being established.
The day before, a seven-year-old girl suffered in an evening accident near house No. 45 on Fedora Tyutchev Street in the Zheleznodorozhny district of Voronezh. LADA Granta and Kia Picanto collided.
