The average life expectancy in the region is 73.2 years. Over 10 years, this figure has increased 2.5 times, which allowed the region to enter the top three regions of the district. Eight percent of Ryazan residents are over 73 years old, and 44 people celebrated their centenary.

55% of Ryazan residents regularly go in for sports, 57.2% undergo preventive examinations or medical examinations annually. Among residents of working age, 65.3% of Ryazan residents monitor their health.
