More than 316 million SberThanks bonuses were spent by residents of the Yaroslavl region in the first months of this year.

Residents of Yaroslavl, Rybinsk and Pereslavl-Zalessky used bonuses most actively when paying for purchases. Most often, SberCard owners spent bonuses on purchases in supermarkets – 199.8 million bonuses, in pharmacies – 33.4 million, and on trips to cafes and restaurants – 22.1 million.

Elena Kochina, and about. manager of the Yaroslavl branch of the Central Russian Bank of Sberbank explained: “The SberSpasibo bonus program is very popular among Yaroslavl residents – in 2023 alone, residents of the region spent more than 1 billion bonuses on purchases. At the same time, bonuses can be written off not only for purchases in stores or for paying for services – they can be transferred to charity or gifted to another person“

Today, the loyalty program has an impressive network of partners – more than 160 companies, including grocery chains, pharmacies, cinemas, clothing, footwear and children’s goods stores, cafes and restaurants, hotel booking services, fitness clubs, and telecom operators.

At the same time, Sber recently announced a large-scale update of its loyalty program. The updated program will cancel absolutely all conditions, levels and restrictions that affected the amount of bonus cashback received, and will become simpler, more flexible and more profitable for customers. SberThanks bonuses will be awarded not only for spending on cards, but also for other actions in the services of the bank and partners – Sber intends to award bonuses in the future for watching movies, using bank products and even listening to music.

For purchases from partners of the bank’s ecosystem, loyalty program participants will receive the maximum number of bonuses – up to 70% in Megamarket, SberMarket, Samokat, etc. Bonuses are awarded instantly and can be immediately used for new purchases. In addition, in the summer Sber will launch exclusive promotions and services, available only for bonuses and bringing additional benefits to customers. The first participants will be able to appreciate the simplicity and convenience of the updated program in April, and by summer the new conditions will be available to everyone.
