The fire happened in the Gorodishchensky district.
On Tuesday, April 23, a fire occurred in the Gorodishchensky district of the Volgograd region. The fire started in the village of Orlovka.
Construction debris caught fire inside the warehouse. The fire covered an area of 150 square meters. Firefighters extinguished the fire within an hour.
“At 14.06, a message about a fire was received at the fire and rescue service dispatcher’s console. Fire crews of the 65th fire and rescue unit extinguished the fire at 15.17,” the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Volgograd Region told Gorodskie Vesti.
There were no casualties. The suspected cause of the fire is a violation of fire safety rules during gas welding work.
