Today, April 24, the governor of the Tyumen region, Alexander Moor, announced the risk of flooding of the Tyumen-Omsk highway. All because of the rise of the Ishim River in the village of Abatskoye.
“We are monitoring the situation in the Abat region. Drones help track it. At 12:00 (10:00 Moscow time) the level of the Ishim River in the village of Abatskoye is 953 cm. Over the last 4 hours, the increase is plus 34 cm. Only 7 cm remains to the critical mark. High water threatens not only houses, but also the Tyumen-Federal highway Omsk. Work on expanding the embankment is finishing here,” — Alexander Moor previously reported in his Telegram channel.
Just a couple of hours later, the governor announced that the level of the Ishim River in the village had exceeded a critical level. The water rose to 980 cm.
