A memory lane was laid out in Gvardeysky Park in Ryazan

On Wednesday, April 24, a memory lane was laid in Gvardeysky Park in Ryazan. Also here, the exposition of the exhibition “Time has chosen us” about participants in local wars, armed conflicts, and participants in a special military operation has been updated.

The exhibition exposition is updated monthly. It was opened for the eighth time. The Memory Alley was laid for the first time on the initiative of the Committee of Families of Soldiers of the Fatherland. Tui was dropped off here by relatives of deceased participants in special operations, local wars and armed conflicts, schoolchildren, cadets of the airborne school, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Ryazan Region Anna Roslyakova, Minister of Territorial Policy Zhanna Fomina, head of the municipality, chairman of the City Duma Tatyana Panfilova, representatives of the Committee of Warriors’ Families Fatherland, their partner organizations.

“On the one hand, the change of exhibition in the park has already become traditional, but on the other hand, each such change is a big event, since not a single one of our heroes should be forgotten. Here are portraits of those who fought in Afghanistan, went through the Chechen campaign, and our guys who participated in a special military operation. We are holding our event on the eve of the main holiday of our country – Victory Day. We really hope that soon we will celebrate the same holiday as Victory Day, as in the Great Patriotic War, and Victory Day in special operations. I would like to say words of gratitude to the families and friends of the deceased children. Over the years, the pain of loss dulls, but it still remains, and we, the living, the only thing we can do is remember our guys and perpetuate their memory. Today an alley will be laid in memory of our heroes who died in the line of military duty. It will be dedicated to everyone. To those who died in Afghanistan, died in Chechnya, during a special military operation. They are all our heroes, and we must be together both in joy and in sorrow,” noted Anna Roslyakova.

Participants of the event laid flowers at the stands with photographs of the heroes. The memory of the victims was honored with a minute of silence. Aleksey Bogomolov, soloist of the Municipal Cultural Center, spoke at the rally.
