Days of Nizhny Novgorod will take place in Moscow’s Zaryadye Park during the annual festival Days of Regions. This corresponds to the goals of the national project “Tourism and Hospitality Industry,” the press service of the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region reported.
A trip to Nizhny Novgorod will be staged in the Zaryadye dome. There you can send postcards with local attractions, get guides and play Nizhny Novgorod Bingo. An exhibition of ethnoboards is also planned – art objects in the form of skateboards, created based on the wooden frames of the Nizhny Novgorod region.
“Zaryadye Park will show “direct speech” on the media facade of the dome and will directly address residents and guests of Moscow on behalf of Nizhny Novgorod – the “Cultural Capital of 2024”. The dome will be painted in the colors of Nizhny Novgorod sunsets, which we invite you to watch all summer, as well as our events and our attractions,” said Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Oleg Berkovich.
The walls inside the pavilion will also be decorated with multimedia screens, on which QR codes will be placed leading to the main cultural and tourism portals of the region. In addition, information screens will show image videos about the region, programs of upcoming events, including exhibition and theater events.
National project “Tourism and Hospitality Industry”involves increasing the number of trips across Russia to 140 million per year by 2030, as well as ensuring economic growth in the country due to the multiplicity of the tourism industry. The national project will help make traveling around Russia convenient, safe and interesting. National projects have been implemented by decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin since 2019.
