The “St. George’s Ribbon” campaign started in the Arkhangelsk region

On the eve of the celebration of the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, ribbons will be presented to city residents by Youth Army members and volunteers. They will also hand out leaflets with information about the history of the symbol and its correct wearing.

More than 30 thousand years of St. George were transferred to the zonal centers of patriotic education. The coordinator of the action in the region is the Patriot Center with the support of the Youth Affairs Agency.

Let us remind you that the St. George Ribbon is a symbol of military glory, a sign of respect for the feat of Soviet soldiers. Since 2022, the ribbon has been equated to symbols of Russian military glory.
