The competition will be held among two age groups: 14–15 years old, and 16–17 years old. This was reported by the Kaluga city government.
Athletes will compete for the title of best in the 25-meter pool at the Central Sports Palace. They will jump into the water from towers of different heights, as well as from one-meter and three-meter springboards.
“The Central Sports Palace is becoming the host of competitions of this level for the first time“, noted the city government.
In total, 160 athletes from 18 regions of Russia will take part in individual and synchronized jumps. 22 sets of medals were prepared for them. The championship will last until April 28.
Earlier, the Kaluga resident set a new record in short course swimming at a competition in Krasnodar.
