As part of the national project “Safe Quality Roads” in the Vladimir region, transport arteries that are in demand among the population are being brought back to standard.
Currently, work is being carried out on five sections of highways: Kasimov – Murom – Nizhny Novgorod in the Melenkovsky district, Khokhlovo – Kameshkovo – Ruchey in the Kovrovsky district, Koloksha – Kolchugino – Aleksandrov – Verkhniye Dvoriki in the Sobinsky district, Malyshevo – Krasnaya Gorbatka in the Selivanovsky district and Gorokhovets – Art. Gorokhovets – Tumbotino in the Gorokhovets district. Road workers are finishing milling the old pavement. The next stage is laying asphalt, strengthening roadsides and applying markings.
Particular attention is paid to the key transport arteries of the region. More than 3 km of coverage will be renewed on the Khokhlovo – Kameshkovo – Ruchey highway, which connects the Kovrovsky district with Suzdal, Yuryev-Polsky, Vladimir, Moscow, Yaroslavl, Ivanovo and Kostroma. About 10 km of the Koloksha – Kolchugino – Alexandrov – Verkhniye Dvoriki road, which is one of the main routes in the region, will be put in order.
The Vladimir – Yuryev-Polsky – Pereslavl – Zalessky highway runs along the popular tourist route “Golden Ring”. This year, road workers will restore a 25 km section of it. In addition, as part of the national project, repair work will be carried out on the roads of Vladimir, Kameshkovo, Sudogda, Suzdal, Yuryev-Polsky, Raduzhny, Lakinsk, Stavrovo and Sobinka.
Bridge crossings will also be updated: Across Lake Urvanovskoye on the Usad – Elino highway in the Melenkovsky district; across the Vakhchilka River on the Pokrov – Novoselovo – Kirzhach highway in the Kirzhach district; across the Sudogda River on the Nikulino-Vorovskogo-Moshok highway in Gus-Khrustalny district; across the Sheredar River on the Znamenskoye – Khmelevo – Khalino – Vlasyevo – Efremovo highway in the Kirzhach district. Repairs of the overpass across the railway in the city of Kameshkovo are also ongoing. In the near future it is planned to begin repairing the bridge over the Lekhtovka River in the Melenkovsky district.
