The average life expectancy in the Ryazan region is 73.2 years. According to Ryazanstat, over ten years it has grown by 2.5 years. According to this indicator, the Ryazan region ranks third in the Central Federal District. At the same time, 8% of the population of the Ryazan region is over 73 years old, that’s 87.4 thousand residents. Of these, 44 people have crossed the century mark.

According to the statistical agency, 55% of Ryazan residents systematically go in for sports, 57.2% annually undergo preventive medical examinations or medical examinations. Moreover, among residents over working age this share is 65.3%.
