The Kursk authorities have become quiet with zero results on the much-hyped “People’s Budget” for 600 million rubles

Kursk 04/24/2024. ABIREG.RU – The Government of the Kursk Region published a report on the implementation of the “People’s Budget” for the first quarter. Of the 602 million rubles announced for this year, the authorities managed to demonstrate only zero implementation in the first three months.

Thus, the quarterly report contains information about only three objects – water supply networks in the Shchigrovsky district. The total amount of funding for them for the whole year is just over 6 million, the development by the municipality is 0 rubles. There is no data on other objects of the “People’s Budget” in the report of the Kursk regional government and did not appear 2 days after its publication.

At the end of March, the Kursk authorities declared funding for the “People’s Budget” this year in the amount of 602.3 million (315.3 million rubles of which are subsidies from the regional budget), promising to put 193 objects in order.

It is noteworthy that the Kursk media unanimously ignored the publication of the report of the regional authorities.

The “people’s” vector of the budget is explained by the fact that funding from the regional authorities for each facility will be 60%, from the municipal treasury – 38%, and another 2% must be added by the residents of Kursk themselves. Applications for this year’s program will continue until July 31.

Previously, the Kursk regional government, including through the resources of Governor Roman Starovoit, called on residents of the region to more actively participate in the “People’s Budget”.
