Large-scale road work has begun on Volokolamsky Avenue in Tver

In the regional center, sidewalks are being repaired simultaneously on several streets.

In Tver, as part of the implementation of the national project “Safe Quality Roads,” the repair of sidewalks continues, the city administration reported.

Currently, work is underway at seven sites. In the area from the Lazuri River embankment to Volokolamsky Prospekt, the following is being carried out: dismantling the existing sidewalk covering, preparing a sand base and replacing side stones. This year the road surface on Volokolamsky Avenue will also be changed. Previously, repairs to this section of Volokolamsky Avenue were carried out in 2018, but then only the road surface was replaced.

On Komsomolsky Prospekt, 2nd Griboyedov Street, S. Tyulenina Street and Artillery Lane, a crushed stone foundation is being installed. On Marshal Konev Street, the old asphalt concrete pavement is being dismantled. The repair of sidewalks on Tverskoy Prospekt continues, where work has already begun on laying paving stones.

Repair work under the national project “Safe and Quality Roads” will take place this year on Sportivny Lane, Georgiy Dimitrov Street and a number of other objects. In addition, sidewalks will be repaired on the streets: Sadovaya, Mozhaiskogo, Marshal Konev, Kominterna, One-sided and on Zeleny Proezd.
