The Tula region took first place in the Central Federal District for labor protection
On Wednesday, April 24, an extended meeting of the interdepartmental commission on labor protection was held in Tula. The participants were greeted by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the region Tatyana Abrosimova.
She noted that Governor Alexey Dyumin pays great attention to issues of labor protection and safety at Tula enterprises.
“At the end of 2023, the Tula region took 1st place in labor protection in the Central Federal District and 6th place throughout Russia. The number of accidents at work decreased by 19%,” the minister added.
On the occasion of the Spring and Labor Day and World Occupational Safety and Health Day in the Tula region, every year they hold a competition for the best organization of labor protection work. Tatyana Abrosimova awarded the winners and thanked them for their concern for preserving the health of enterprise employees.
