The head of the region, Maxim Egorov, became the mentor of the country’s main personnel tourism project “Masters of Hospitality” (18+) of the presidential platform “Russia – the Land of Opportunities”. From now on, it will support hospitality professionals. Participants will be able to seek advice on the implementation of projects aimed at developing the country’s territories.
“I thank Maxim Borisovich Egorov for his trust in the project and the decision to become a mentor, I am sure that the Head of the Tambov Region will have interesting work ahead with the most hospitable people of the country,” said Alexey Komissarov, Director General of the ANO “Russia – the Land of Opportunities”, Rector of the Presidential Academy.
Tambov residents have been participating in the “Masters of Hospitality” project since 2019. During this time, more than 270 applications were submitted. In addition, seven people were announced as finalists and one as a winner. The project provides opportunities to unlock the potential of participants, train them, exchange experiences, undergo a mentoring program from tourism industry leaders, as well as promote tourism projects among employers and industry organizations. Participants not only meet professionals in the tourism industry and other fields, but also receive personal advice on promoting their projects.
Mentors, in turn, support the masters and help solve regional cases at in-person events. They are related to the prospects for the development of the tourism industry in the regions. As part of the competitive assessment, they conduct individual interviews and give recommendations, and also share their experience as part of the business program of events – holding lectures and master classes.
— I gladly accepted the offer to join the mentors of the “Masters of Hospitality” project. While the competitive tests are ongoing, I will watch their progress with interest. I am ready to support the most creative projects, give them expert assessment, and give patronage to the authors. We will promote and implement the best projects in the Tambov region,” said the Head of the region, Maxim Egorov.
It should be noted that every year the community of the “Masters of Hospitality” project is growing: since 2019, more than 130 thousand talented hospitality industry specialists and almost 450 professionals in their field – experts and mentors of the project – have joined it. The mentors of the “Masters of Hospitality” project are leaders of the hospitality industry, well-known hoteliers and restaurateurs, tour operators, heads of specialized companies and organizations, as well as heads of regions and government officials supervising the development of territories in the constituent entities of the country.
Let us remind you that the “Masters of Hospitality” project is being implemented under the “Social Elevators for Everyone” program of the national project “Education”. It is aimed at supporting specialists in the hospitality industry and caring young people starting their journey in tourism.
