Residents of the Tula region over the past 24 hours, from April 23 to April 24, lost ten million 742 thousand 639 rubles, falling for the tricks of scammers, regional police report.

Over the past 24 hours, five Tula residents aged from 19 to 78 years have become victims of telephone and online scammers. Four of them transferred their savings supposedly to a secure account and provided access to their information on State Services or in the bank’s application.

In addition, a 37-year-old man from Kimovsk tried to buy concrete blocks on the Internet, but ended up falling for scammers – not being convinced of the seller’s trustworthiness, he lost 46 thousand rubles.

Today we also told you that there are scammers in Tula issued birth certificates and payments for children who were never born. A 28-year-old Tula resident, knowing that if the birth did not take place in a medical institution, then to obtain a birth certificate, a statement from a person who was present at the birth of the child is enough, he suggested to several women he knew to draw up documents for non-existent children.
