A short film about Nikita Samoilov was shown in Ivanovo

On April 23, the short film “16 Lines” directed by Alexey Sviridov was shown at the Museum and Exhibition Center in Ivanovo. The painting is dedicated to a Russian officer, a participant in a special military operation – Nikita Samoilov.

He was born and lived in Bryansk. He served in the 217th Guards Airborne Ivanovsky Order of Kutuzov 3rd Class Regiment, the 98th Guards Airborne Svir Red Banner Order of Kutuzov 2nd Class Division as a reconnaissance platoon commander. Died at the age of 27 in Gostomel. Posthumously awarded the Order of Courage.

“For us, Nikita’s family, Alexey Sviridov’s film “16 Lines” is incredibly important. After all, he contributes to the preservation and perpetuation of the historical memory and truth about our son Nikita Vyacheslavovich Samoilov. I sincerely believe that this artistic project will not allow our Warrior of Light to die a second time – into oblivion. He will give the Hero a new life – life in the people’s memory of future generations!” The hero’s mother, Natalya Samoilova, shared at the film’s premiere.

Schoolchildren, cadets, students and members of patriotic clubs came to the film screening in Ivanovo. Nikita Samoilov’s colleagues talked to the guys.
