The police department in Murmansk received a message from a medical institution. They received a northerner with a penetrating stab wound to the abdominal cavity.
The man said that he came to work with his friend in one of the city’s shopping centers. They went down to the basement and talked. A security guard joined their conversation, trying to interrupt the couple’s conversation, and a conflict ensued.
The suspect left the premises and then returned with a knife in his hands. Suddenly he struck the victim in the stomach.
– From the scene of the incident, traces of hands and feet, the knife that was used to inflict the wound, clothes of the suspect and the victim were seized, and photographs were taken. The detainee, a previously unconvicted native of the Kostroma region born in 1966, admitted his guilt and confirmed the testimony of the victim. He explained his action by a suddenly aroused hostile attitude, the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Murmansk region shared.
The man faces up to 10 years in prison.
