The regional stage of the professional skills competition “Stroymaster” will be held in Tomsk

Guests are expected at the Municipal Construction College by 9 a.m. on April 25.

According to the regional department of architecture and construction, leading industry professionals will be identified in four categories: “Best Bricklayer”, “Best Plasterer”, “Best Installer of Frame-Sheathing Structures” and “Best Welder”.

“Competition participants will answer theoretical questions and then move on to compete in practical skills. Thus, installers of frame-sheathing structures will cut metal profiles and install the frame, and plasterers will demonstrate the installation of beacon and corner protection profiles,” the department explained.

The competitive events planned within the first three nominations will take place at the Tomsk Municipal Construction College. The best welders will be determined by the main certification center of the West Siberian region of the National Agency for Control and Welding.

The organizers of the Stroymaster competition are the National Association of Self-Regulatory Organizations (NOSTROY) and the SRO “Siberian Builders” with the support of the SRO “Tomsk Builders”.
